Hi. The only difference between the mute rings is the color. Some people like to camouflage the rings and others like to make it pop. So, it's just a matter of visual preference. Does that help? -Michael

Wow! I love the quiet. The foam earplugs are so bulky. Yes, they block out more sound that LOOP however, I don't find them comfortable at all. Either way, I am sorry you didn't have a good experience with them. -Michael

@@michaelmingoiamusic thank you, yes that's the one. So after looking into it a bit more it seems it claims 2 different standards of noise reduction. 15 dB (SNR) / 7 dB (NNR). Not sure I fully understand this but I think this is where I was lost.

Not a dumb question at all, but be prepared for some conflicting opinions. This question was asked by another subscriber of mine about a year ago. It didn't even cross my mind to try it. When I did put the mute in the Experience it worked just as well as with the Pro ones. After trying it, I put a video out explaining that you could. HOWEVER, many other people commenting saying that the website specifically says it doesn't work that way. I read it on the site as well. Now, I am not saying LOOP is lying at all. What I am saying is it worked for me. I got the first model of Experience and Experience PRO. So, maybe they modified it since. I really am not sure. It works for me. I tested it multiple times. So, if you want to try it for yourself, I would love to see what you found. Does this help? -Michael

Honestly, it takes a few minutes to get used to it. Nothing is as comfortable as sleeping without anything in your ears but as far as earplugs go they are the most comfortable IMO. -Michael
